Mendel – The shark hunter Siberian
Mendel is an upstart shark hunter who operates in the dark forests of siberia. His main weapon is a house/hip hop/bass/electronic-infused sound that shines through the darkness of contemporary electronic music. Mendel found himself drawn to djing in his early years, attracted to artists like Miss Kittin, Laurent Garnier, Alexander Kowalski and Vitalic, and repelled by the top 40 radio served to his adolescent peers. Obsessed with not only music but all forms of artistic expression, he delved into graffiti painting and graphic design before deciding that his one and true love was music and audio production.

Once Mendel focused on creating tracks, he found himself quickly signed up to release his 1st EP, Beatburger, on Place Blanche Records, featuring vocals frome Tunde Olaniran and some remixes from Stereoheroes, Mikix The Cat and Greg Kozo from the
duo Make The Girl Dance. Beatburger immediately gained strong support from the blog community, especially in France. His short-lived
duo, The Bass Knights, enjoyed a featured track on the Evil Blog 2 compilation, released by Buzzard Gulch/Coco Machete.
Mendel waits in the Siberian woods, sharpening his weapons and preparing for a slew of 2011 remixes and EPs, starting with his “Chocolatero” EP signed on Sleediz Records.
